The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Hartz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Epifanio Hunfredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Abel Ramone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Bernabe Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arribeños AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Matthew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Ramone in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Medina's Epifanio Hunfredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Hartz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Aldo Silban fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arribeños AFC's protests and gave Aldo Silban a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Aldo Silban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Medina got a corner. Arribeños AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dario Geofredo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dario Geofredo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arribeños AFC's Augusto Hartz did a great save. The Arribeños AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Medina were winning 0-2.

Arribeños AFC's Augusto Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Hunfredo in the 54th minute of play. Augusto Hartz was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Abel Ramone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abel Ramone really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Medina eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
