With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Raphael in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timoteo Arnau saved Obanta FC from getting behind. Cipriano Raphael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Goiz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Fulgencio Paskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sachayoj FC's zone, Eugenio Odol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Rioja came out of the goal and Eugenio Odol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Obanta FC booed when Sachayoj FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Indartsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Marino in the 26th minute of play forced Sachayoj FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Obanta FC's Cirilo Marino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Rioja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Paskal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timoteo Arnau was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Timoteo Arnau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Paskal in the 30th minute of play. If Cipriano Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Rioja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Odol went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Paskal in the 37th minute of play forced Obanta FC's goalkeeper Timoteo Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Obanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Orlondo to maneuver through the defense. Cirilo Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Rioja having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Timoteo Arnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Paskal in the 54th minute of the match. When Sebastian Indartsu fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sachayoj FC's protests and gave Sebastian Indartsu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Sebastian Indartsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geronimo Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Odol in the 58th minute of play. Fulgencio Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Arnau having to interfere. Cirilo Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 74th play minutes Eugenio Odol shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Geronimo Rioja and just under the crossbar into goal. If Fulgencio Paskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Raphael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timoteo Arnau having to make a save. Cirilo Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Geronimo Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Sachayoj FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Marino came free, but Geronimo Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Paskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
