The Normal Rosarino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Azubeli should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute, Aquiles Miliano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute Lucas Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Aquiles Miliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, Normal Rosarino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Söderlund to maneuver through the defense. Ciénega FC's Anfilogino Giannantonio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enzo Vitin in the 13 minute of the game. Omar Havier kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Francisco Azubeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Baran Tezalp in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Correia got free with Severino Bartolome in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute Clemente Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Bartolome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Lucas Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Bartolome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Enzo Vitin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ciénega FC's Anfilogino Giannantonio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Francisco Azubeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Normal Rosarino's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Setúbal came free, but Francisco Azubeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes Normal Rosarino got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Ieltxu. The supporters of Ciénega FC booed when Normal Rosarino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Ieltxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Vladimiro Peyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Azubeli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ciénega FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
