The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes RHCP got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Euloxu. After 16 minutes, Benicio Aballe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RHCP and the EBK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes RHCP got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Aballe. 17 minutes into the game, Eriberto Godoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EBK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RHCP the free kick. A collision led to EBK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eriberto Godoy hit a great ball. When Manuel Euloxu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the RHCP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Euloxu couldn't finish the play. When Honorio Rencio fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EBK's protests and gave Honorio Rencio a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes EBK got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Rencio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Mattsson in the 22nd minute of play forced RHCP's goalkeeper Daniel Kornatowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Kornatowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Feliciano Eutropio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RHCP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EBK the free kick. The supporters of EBK booed when RHCP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Eutropio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Euloxu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ubaldo Lore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RHCP. Honorio Rencio was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 39th minute, Manuel Euloxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, RHCP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 43 minutes, Olgierd Furtok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EBK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olgierd Furtok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Kornatowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Furtok, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a rather tough play, RHCP's Adolfo Mingo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olgierd Furtok stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olgierd Furtok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kornatowski having to interfere. RHCP's Daniel Kornatowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Furtok in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, RHCP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Eutropio to maneuver through the defense. Olgierd Furtok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Daniel Kornatowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, EBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Guifre to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in RHCP's zone, Olgierd Furtok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Kornatowski came out of the goal and Olgierd Furtok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Manuel Euloxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Lore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Iruinea hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as EBK's Olgierd Furtok slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Kornatowski. That made the score 0-2 after 95 minutes of play. EBK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
