Niceto Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Kusko having to interfere. Ciro Leizarraga's late challenge caught a C.A BOCA JUNIERS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Leizarraga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Ciro Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes, C.A BOCA JUNIERS's Hugo Itzaina shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gregorio Kusko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A BOCA JUNIERS reached it. Amadeo Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Firmin in the 11th minute of play. Gaudencio Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Gabino having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Terciero in the 14th minute of play forced C.A BOCA JUNIERS's goalkeeper Amadeo Gabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Terciero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Silverio Natanael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Gabino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Arnaldo Abeita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Matxin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Charbonier FC's Laureano Pierres tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amadeo Gabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Firmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Charbonier FC booed when C.A BOCA JUNIERS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeo Gabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Terciero in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A BOCA JUNIERS's Niceto Matxin got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Gaudencio Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Niceto Matxin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A BOCA JUNIERS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charbonier FC the free kick. Niceto Matxin kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaudencio Firmin in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Gabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A BOCA JUNIERS's Amadeo Gabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Terciero in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A BOCA JUNIERS's goalkeeper Amadeo Gabino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaudencio Firmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Albano Terciero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charbonier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Terciero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Gabino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albano Terciero to make the kick off. Albano Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Amadeo Gabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Gaudencio Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charbonier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Firmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Alberto Bikendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charbonier FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
