Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5365, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 142) C.A BOCA JUNIERS's Arnaldo Abeita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niceto Matxin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes Mechongué AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Ibar. The supporters of Mechongué AFC booed when C.A BOCA JUNIERS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Estavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeo Gabino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valentin Dolcet. In the 12th minute, Mechongué AFC's Teddy Strellner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Isidoro Mikolas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teddy Strellner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Gabino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. C.A BOCA JUNIERS's Amadeo Gabino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save C.A BOCA JUNIERS from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Mechongué AFC's zone, Isidoro Mikolas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kris Boulton came out of the goal and Isidoro Mikolas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Isidoro Mikolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mechongué AFC's Leopoldo Ibar got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leopoldo Ibar fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mechongué AFC's protests and gave Leopoldo Ibar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mechongué AFC's Leopoldo Ibar got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teddy Strellner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kris Boulton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Teddy Strellner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechongué AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Teddy Strellner put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Amadeo Gabino. Mechongué AFC's Leopoldo Ibar got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Mechongué AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Iraitz. In the 69th minute Teddy Strellner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Isidoro Mikolas managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A BOCA JUNIERS's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Mikolas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kris Boulton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the C.A BOCA JUNIERS defense, Teddy Strellner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Gabino. The C.A BOCA JUNIERS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Gabino should have stopped the shot. Mechongué AFC's Gualterio Tabb was substituted for Wincenty Kojder. Teddy Strellner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Amadeo Gabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mechongué AFC's Raul Irrintzi was substituted for Leopoldo Ibar. Amadeo Gabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy Strellner, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Raul Irrintzi came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mechongué AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Irrintzi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 91 minutes, Raul Irrintzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mechongué AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Irrintzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Marcos Crispo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mechongué AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
