The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fidel Tallia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Jobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Jobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Tallia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gervasio Jax. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Jobo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Tallia saved Pedro B from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Miguel Jobo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Tallia was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Genaro Valery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, EL MARTILLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Jobo to maneuver through the defense. Pedro B's Genaro Valery got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pedro B's zone, Miguel Jobo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Tallia came out of the goal and Miguel Jobo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Jobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of EL MARTILLO booed when Pedro B was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Tallia having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 55 played minutes EL MARTILLO got a freekick which was hit by Matias Jobo. Genaro Valery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Socorro having to interfere. Gavino Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Julio Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Tristan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Miguel Jobo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Tallia was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gavino Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Pedro B got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Tristan. In the 81st minute of the match Gervasio Jax sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Tallia skillfully saved the ball. When Gavino Tristan in the 85th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Julio Socorro kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 88th minute, Fernan Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, EL MARTILLO's Matias Jobo got a free kick in the 94th minute. EL MARTILLO were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pedro B for a fine match.
