RibbonApache's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Birjaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Birjaio in the 29th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Miguel Quirze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vito Corleone FC and the RibbonApache players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miguel Quirze hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Jaime Soin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Dalmau. RibbonApache's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Soin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 36th match minute, RibbonApache was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seve Gala to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Soin in the 40th minute of play forced RibbonApache's goalkeeper Teofilo Dalmau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Dalmau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Soin in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Samuca Paranaense notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of RibbonApache's Teofilo Dalmau. Teofilo Dalmau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Vito Corleone FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Saul Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Roman Gaxan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, RibbonApache's Teofilo Dalmau got control of the ball when Samuca Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vito Corleone FC's Gabriel Urdaspal suffered a sprained foot after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Seve Gala fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RibbonApache's protests and gave Seve Gala a yellow card for diving instead. Vito Corleone FC's Gustavo Ekain was substituted for Gabriel Urdaspal. A collision led to RibbonApache getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Seve Gala hit a great ball. With 64 minutes on the clock, Peder Lundberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Peder Lundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Jaime Soin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teofilo Dalmau. The goal made the score 0-5. Teofilo Dalmau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Soin in the 71st minute of the match. Samuca Paranaense came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teofilo Dalmau could save by the left post. RibbonApache's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jaime Soin 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. After 79 played minutes Vito Corleone FC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Ubelteso. A sloppy throw-in by Braulio Oro in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RibbonApache's Maximo Bernad. Maximo Bernad kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vito Corleone FC's Gustavo Ekain got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jaime Soin struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Teofilo Dalmau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vito Corleone FC.
