Conrado Hondo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, MARICONCHITAS's Santiago Opilano got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Conrado Hondo charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Hondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes MARICONCHITAS got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Hondo. In the 7th minute, Conrado Hondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Conrado Hondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th match minute, MARICONCHITAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Osmundo to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Bernad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Hondo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Clodoveo Nahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Conrado Hondo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the MARICONCHITAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Hondo couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Burni's late challenge caught a MARICONCHITAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Burni helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to pirates getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erubiel Burni hit a great ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Conrado Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MARICONCHITAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Hondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardino Palos charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 33rd minute, MARICONCHITAS's Abel Kiliz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anastasio Bernad. Anastasio Bernad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. pirates's Anastasio Bernad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save pirates from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, pirates's Dante Librado got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Atilano Tavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, MARICONCHITAS's Abel Kiliz tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, pirates's Anastasio Bernad got control of the ball when Conrado Hondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anastasio Bernad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Hondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Bernad didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Martino made a kick off. Santiago Opilano hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Marcelino Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. pirates's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Gabriel Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Bernad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Hondo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Bernad saved pirates from getting behind. Anastasio Bernad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Lehoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes of play pirates's Erubiel Burni was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to MARICONCHITAS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Conrado Hondo hit a great ball. Roberto Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Cordario in the 87th minute of the match. If Gabriel Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Conrado Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARICONCHITAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Hondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MARICONCHITAS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
