Bolívar AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Cezar Crisan scored to the left of an out of position Leopoldo Peru, making the score, 2-0. After 16 minutes, Teofilo Joseph made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bolívar AFC's Leopoldo Peru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Marcelo Theodore fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolívar AFC's protests and gave Marcelo Theodore a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Manantiales booed when Bolívar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Theodore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manantiales had played much better football throughout.
