Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sarmiento AFC's Sebastian Erramu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severiano Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Filiberto Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento AFC's Ciro Niva got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Artaldo in the 15th minute of play forced Sarmiento AFC's goalkeeper Filiberto Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes, Ivan Liberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fachinal and the Sarmiento AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Liberto kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Rolando Sesuldo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Fachinal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Sesuldo couldn't finish the play. Severiano Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Eladio having to interfere. Filiberto Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Artaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Artaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Sarmiento AFC's Filiberto Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Sesuldo in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sarmiento AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anastasio Ostargi was slow to take the kick. During this time Fachinal's players had a chance to rest. Bonifacio Menendo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento AFC's Sebastian Erramu. But to his dismay, Sebastian Erramu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Fachinal getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eustaquio Nesor hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Severiano Artaldo had several of the Sarmiento AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Filiberto Eladio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Filiberto Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Sesuldo in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Severiano Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fachinal's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Artaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Eladio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fachinal made a substitution. Isidro Orti replaced Severiano Artaldo. A collision led to Sarmiento AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Laureano Nuxila hit a great ball. Filiberto Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Sesuldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento AFC's zone, Isidro Orti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Eladio came out of the goal and Isidro Orti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 played minutes Fachinal got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Orti. Filiberto Eladio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Sesuldo in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Rolando Sesuldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Chago kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Isidro Orti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fachinal's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sarmiento AFC had won, even though Fachinal had held more of the ball.
