Samuel Cayo scored 5-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Blai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 72 played minutes Asturias AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Benat. Lázaro Blai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Cayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ildefonso Rami charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Rami the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C.A. River Plate's Ildefonso Rami got a free kick in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Benat notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of C.A. River Plate's Lázaro Blai. Lázaro Blai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. River Plate's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Asturias AFC had won, even though C.A. River Plate had held more of the ball.
