Edelmiro Ponc took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Gurutz. Ricardo Gurutz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Urbano Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game Alejandro Egoi kicked a great long shot which passed Ricardo Gurutz straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-0. One couldn't see Alejandro Egoi behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Genaro Bihar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lázaro Blai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Genaro Bihar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zoldo Alto and the C.A. River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Genaro Bihar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of C.A. River Plate booed when Zoldo Alto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Bihar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arnulfo Donostia fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zoldo Alto's protests and gave Arnulfo Donostia a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Ponc in the 59th minute of play forced Zoldo Alto's goalkeeper Ricardo Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
