After 13 minutes Montecarlo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaspar Milio who took care of the corner kick. Rigoberto Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Gaitan in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Montecarlo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eduardo Beila hit a great ball. The supporters of Montecarlo booed when LatinoAmerica Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Dantel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Edgar Läänemets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, LatinoAmerica Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Läänemets came free, but Rigoberto Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Montecarlo's goalkeeper Nunez Abeita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Elixio. In the 37th minute Silverio Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Dantel to make the kick off. Montecarlo's Nunez Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Elixio in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes LatinoAmerica Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Oriol. In the 59th match minute, LatinoAmerica Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 周平常 to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Läänemets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rigoberto Loi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Oriol kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Haroldo Gaitan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rigoberto Loi. That made the score 0-1 in the 82 minute of play. LatinoAmerica Futbol Club's Gregorio Pacorro was substituted for Desiderio Oriol. LatinoAmerica Futbol Club's Herminio Olentzaro was substituted for Godofredo Unax. If Silverio Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Montecarlo's Edgar Läänemets got a free kick in the 94th minute. The LatinoAmerica Futbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Montecarlo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
