ECHAGUE F.C's Delmiro Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuberoa Grijan in the 8th minute of play. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Zuberoa Grijan made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Maximales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Celipe to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Selmo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Maximales's Humberto Firmin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ECHAGUE F.C. Delmiro Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Kimetz in the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zuberoa Grijan got free with Delmiro Odon in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Luis Txanton fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maximales's protests and gave Luis Txanton a yellow card for diving instead. Benedicto Celipe hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, ECHAGUE F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Bikendi came free, but Delmiro Odon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zuberoa Grijan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmiro Odon. That made the score 2-1 in the 97 minute of play. Many of Maximales's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Maximales may have spent more time on the ball, but ECHAGUE F.C were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
