A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Zuberoa Grijan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Constantino Veronica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teobaldo Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zuberoa Grijan in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Veronica saved JLG F.C. from getting behind. Benedicto Celipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Veronica having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Leonides Sein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JLG F.C. and the Maximales players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zuberoa Grijan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Genaro Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximales's Zuberoa Grijan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Luis Txanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Txanton struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Constantino Veronica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maximales. In the 45th match minute, JLG F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Sein to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Maximales were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zuberoa Grijan was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Zuberoa Grijan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Veronica was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Gonchan during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes JLG F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Gonchan. Maximales's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th minute, Luis Txanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, JLG F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zuberoa Grijan came free, but Constantino Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zuberoa Grijan came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Maximales fans jumped to their feet. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Constantino Veronica, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Zuberoa Grijan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Kimetz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Ponc's late challenge caught a Maximales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Ponc helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Igor Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
