In the 29thth minute of the game Zacarias Rubio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vela AFC's Nicolas Flor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fernando Onofre fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHAU MZ's protests and gave Fernando Onofre a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Fernando Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Estevez in the 42nd minute of the match. With his leg Nicolas Flor managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when CHAU MZ's Zacarias Rubio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 81 minutes into the match, CHAU MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Blanco came free, but Santo Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CHAU MZ's zone, Amador Udalaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Gabrio came out of the goal and Amador Udalaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of CHAU MZ booed when Vela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Naelio in the 89th minute of the match. Federico Blanco's late challenge caught a CHAU MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Blanco helped the player get up and apologised. Federico Blanco hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
