Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) La Banda's Bernardo Sendoa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hernan Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, La Banda's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Blanco came free, but Joaquin Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amador Udalaitz came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Vela AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Udalaitz couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, La Banda's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Estevez came free, but Joaquin Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Banda's Joaquin Jago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save La Banda from getting a goal against them. The supporters of La Banda booed when Vela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 20 in the game by Federico Blanco from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Jago managed to make a qualified save. La Banda's players were relieved. Robustiano Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joaquin Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Jago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Blanco in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Federico Blanco made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. La Banda's Joaquin Jago tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Blanco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Jago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Federico Blanco didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 30th minute. Vela AFC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After a rather tough play, La Banda's Hernan Cutberto got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Efrain Rafel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Flor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda's zone, Amador Udalaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Jago came out of the goal and Amador Udalaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Vela AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Cutberto came free, but Nicolas Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Flor had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Baltasar Gaskon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Vela AFC's Nicolas Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Cutberto in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Vela AFC booed when La Banda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dario Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vela AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Nel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Jago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Udalaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Federico Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Federico Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, La Banda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Dunixi to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Federico Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vela AFC's Robustiano Berart got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Jago having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, La Banda's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Berart came free, but Joaquin Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Baltasar Estevez made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Jago. La Banda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Vela AFC's Federico Blanco in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Banda's goalie prevented a goal. Vela AFC's Amador Udalaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda's zone, Federico Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Jago came out of the goal and Federico Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Amador Udalaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vela AFC's Federico Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Vela AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
