After 8 played minutes Heroes En Silencio got a freekick which was hit by Anier Cordairo. When Ariel Mel fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester City's protests and gave Ariel Mel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ariel Mel hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Bernabe Beremundo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Heroes En Silencio's Serafin Tano. Serafin Tano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Radu Nae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Martino in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Martino in the 22nd minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Radu Nae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Anier Cordairo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Manchester City defense, Daniel Martino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radu Nae. The Manchester City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radu Nae should have stopped the shot. Heroes En Silencio's Serafin Tano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Heroes En Silencio from getting a goal against them. Fabricio Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
