An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Inocente in the 9th minute of play forced Estrella Roja's goalkeeper 许洲银 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Aleksas Kidykas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 许洲银 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Perica Kojić came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Estrella Roja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perica Kojić couldn't finish the play. After 17 minutes of play, Estrella Roja's Vinicio Tomi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gogo Gar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Vila AFC's zone, Perica Kojić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Gar came out of the goal and Perica Kojić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Artemio Tabb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrella Roja's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Tabb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Gar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the game, Artemio Tabb recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gogo Gar. Artemio Tabb showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 30 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Hendzel came free, but 许洲银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vila AFC booed when Estrella Roja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Txilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Perica Kojić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrella Roja's supporters rose to their feet, but Perica Kojić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Gar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perica Kojić might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gogo Gar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perica Kojić ran back to his position shaking his head. Artemio Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Artemio Tabb hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Estrella Roja's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Esteve Etxahun in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute of the game Hugo Raitin made a throw-in which Perica Kojić played forward. Vinicio Tomi took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gogo Gar. Gogo Gar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 61st minute Ernesto Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 许洲银 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Estrella Roja's 许洲银 got control of the ball when Michal Hendzel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Estrella Roja booed when Vila AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Romulo Mambru fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vila AFC's protests and gave Romulo Mambru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Esteve Etxahun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vila AFC's Gogo Gar didn't even have to move. Dante Leocadio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gogo Gar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perica Kojić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Gudesteo helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Vila AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Gudesteo. After having played for 85 minutes, Perica Kojić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella Roja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perica Kojić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 minutes of play, Estrella Roja's Artemio Tabb made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gogo Gar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gogo Gar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perica Kojić in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Estrella Roja fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vila AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
