The supporters of Comunicaciones Córdoba booed when Diamante AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Comunicaciones Córdoba's protests and gave Atilano Kusko a yellow card for diving instead. Atilano Kusko hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Diamante AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Kemen came free, but Fermin Peruanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Peruanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Uhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serban Abagiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Diamante AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rene Birila hit a great ball. Atilano Kusko hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Serban Abagiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Comunicaciones Córdoba's Nicasio Napier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Comunicaciones Córdoba's Everardo Kiliz got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to Diamante AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. After a rather tough play, Diamante AFC's Nunez Olentzaro got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Primitivo Mikolas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Peruanton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Nicasio Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serban Abagiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Diamante AFC's Fermin Peruanton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Diamante AFC from getting a goal against them. Comunicaciones Córdoba played a much better game than Diamante AFC and deserved their victory. The Diamante AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
