The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Herauso got free with Julián Camaño in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Saverio Herauso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julián Camaño. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Catedral FC booed when Guernica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Gomez in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julián Camaño, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Saverio Herauso scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julián Camaño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julián Camaño came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Catedral FC's Saverio Herauso. But to his dismay, Saverio Herauso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gogo Ledesma during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Catedral FC made a substitution. Armando Turi replaced Saverio Herauso. After a rather tough play, Guernica FC's Gogo Ledesma got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Guernica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Gomez came free, but Julián Camaño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Benet hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Armando Turi in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julián Camaño, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julian Franco scored 4-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julián Camaño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julián Camaño came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Catedral FC's Damian Gomez. But to his dismay, Damian Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 43 minutes into the game, Armando Turi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julián Camaño. Armando Turi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Julián Camaño was a little too slow when Damian Gomez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

57 minutes into the match, Damian Gomez notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Guernica FC's Julián Camaño. Julián Camaño was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damian Gomez succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. When Damian Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Catedral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Gomez couldn't finish the play. Julián Camaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Armando Turi put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julián Camaño. Julián Camaño came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Catedral FC's Armando Turi. But to his dismay, Armando Turi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. After 79 minutes of play, Catedral FC's Damian Gomez made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julián Camaño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julián Camaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Franco in the 89th minute of play forced Guernica FC's goalkeeper Julián Camaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guernica FC's Julián Camaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Franco in the 95th minute of play. Catedral FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
