Kagasawa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Mannuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Salvator breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Gilabert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Gonsalve in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, C.A. BOEDO JUNIORS's Gustavo Otoniel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Federico Gilabert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. BOEDO JUNIORS reached it. Alberto Salvator made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Hugo Salvatore sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, C.A. BOEDO JUNIORS's Alberto Salvator got control of the ball when Mateo Breogan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gaudencio Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Dolfo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Epifanio Nikola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Alberto Salvator made a huge save. In the 30th minute Gaudencio Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Salvator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kagasawa FC's Federico Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Aurre in the 33rd minute of play. Alberto Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Mannuel in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Andres Ralondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. BOEDO JUNIORS and the Kagasawa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, one of C.A. BOEDO JUNIORS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. BOEDO JUNIORS. Marcelo Herena shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 46th match minute, C.A. BOEDO JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Otoniel to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Kagasawa FC's Marcelo Herena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Salvator narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Tiniebra to strike the kick off in the second half. If Teofilo Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Tiniebra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Federico Gilabert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, C.A. BOEDO JUNIORS's Osvaldo Tiniebra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Kagasawa FC's Federico Gilabert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Kagasawa FC from getting a goal against them. After 65 played minutes Kagasawa FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Mannuel. Rolando Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Kagasawa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Saul Gonsalve scored to the left of an out of position Federico Gilabert, making the score, 0-2. Teofilo Aurre might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Gilabert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Aurre ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Saul Gonsalve got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 96th minute, Humberto Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Gonsalve in the 98thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Federico Gilabert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
