The supporters of Azulcuesta FC booed when La Acade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Tajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Unax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Celipe, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Azulcuesta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Acade the free kick. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Higinio Unax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Erdiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The La Acade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Erdiano in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Unax saved Azulcuesta FC from getting behind. Higinio Unax dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After a rather tough play, La Acade's Oscar Tajo got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Azulcuesta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Erdiano came free, but Higinio Unax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rene Celipe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Unax was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Acade fully deserved thier win.
