Jimeno Hulberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santo Ponce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimeno Hulberto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Filomeno Dodorol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Krikorian Mollinedo. The goal made the score 1-0. When Justino Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Rosales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Ciceron couldn't finish the play. Krikorian Mollinedo stood somewhat misplaced when Filomeno Dodorol came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. 33 minutes into the match, Justino Ciceron notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Prodan Sokol FC's Santo Ponce. Santo Ponce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Rosales's Krikorian Mollinedo got control of the ball when Filomeno Dodorol tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Rosales's goalkeeper Krikorian Mollinedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Dodorol. Krikorian Mollinedo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Efrain Txerran sent off a good shot on target. Krikorian Mollinedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Dodorol in the 41st minute. Guaberto Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Rosales booed when Prodan Sokol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Opilano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Ciceron made a kick off. Prodan Sokol FC's Fernan Opilano got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Rosales getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fabio Belarmo hit a great ball. Justino Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Ponce having to interfere. Krikorian Mollinedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Dodorol in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Dodorol in the 67th minute of play forced Rosales's goalkeeper Krikorian Mollinedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krikorian Mollinedo having to interfere. In the 74th minute Justino Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Ponce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Leon Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Krikorian Mollinedo. Rosales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Fernan Opilano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Fernan Opilano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Krikorian Mollinedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Fernan Opilano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Efrain Txerran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prodan Sokol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Txerran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krikorian Mollinedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krikorian Mollinedo having to interfere. Justino Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Ponce having to interfere. Rosales's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
