Laureano Meder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Loco in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Meder saved Armindo AFC from getting behind. At last the ball reached Elias Gonza at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Armindo AFC. 0-3. Laureano Meder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Castulo in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cumbiambas FC's Fausto Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Vincent in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Armindo AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Isaias Vincent hit a great ball. Cecilio Loco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laureano Meder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Meder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Loco in the 64th minute. The coaching staff of Cumbiambas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Serafino Mazuste had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
