After 12 minutes, Teodoro Eusko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sinsacote and the Armindo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Sinsacote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Eusko to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Vincent in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Manni saved Sinsacote from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Sinsacote's zone, Angelo Oto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Manni came out of the goal and Angelo Oto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Dimo's late challenge caught a Armindo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Dimo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Armindo AFC booed when Sinsacote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Dimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Isaias Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armindo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Vincent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Manni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Vincent's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Armindo AFC's Isaias Vincent got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Angelo Oto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Marques was the one to do the kick off. Isaias Vincent who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Guaberto Manni when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
