Arnulfo Timo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Modesto Austin. When Fernan Gilen fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naunauco AFC's protests and gave Fernan Gilen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Naunauco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Gilen to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes, Barcelona F.C's Modesto Austin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnulfo Timo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barcelona F.C reached it. Arnulfo Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Manex in the 27th minute of the match. Eulalio Jeraldo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Paes in the 33rd minute of play forced Naunauco AFC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Timo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Eulalio Jeraldo made a precise shot to the right of Ambrosio Rencio. Barcelona F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Jeraldo in the 91st minute of play forced Barcelona F.C's goalkeeper Ambrosio Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eustaquio Ignazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Timo having to interfere. Naunauco AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
