Ivan Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Carman Rafferty managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Yapeyú FC's Ivan Ongile fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 11 minutes, Ivan Ongile made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. EL TIFON DE BOYACA's Carman Rafferty tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to EL TIFON DE BOYACA getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Leonides Calisto hit a great ball. Ivan Ongile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Rafferty having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, EL TIFON DE BOYACA's goalkeeper Carman Rafferty had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Ongile. With a little luck, EL TIFON DE BOYACA's Carman Rafferty got control of the ball when Bogdan Cojocaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Ongile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carman Rafferty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Ivan Ongile did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Carman Rafferty 27 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Severiano Nuno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carman Rafferty. The goal made the score 3-0. When Yapeyú FC's Severiano Nuno in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EL TIFON DE BOYACA's goalie prevented a goal. Ivan Ongile in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carman Rafferty, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Ongile got free with Carman Rafferty in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Severiano Nuno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carman Rafferty. Severiano Nuno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Ivan Ongile made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 45thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Carman Rafferty would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for EL TIFON DE BOYACA!

Delmiro Eufrasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Rafferty having to interfere. The supporters of Yapeyú FC booed when EL TIFON DE BOYACA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Nuno struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Carman Rafferty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yapeyú FC. Carman Rafferty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Ongile's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Severiano Nuno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Carman Rafferty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Yapeyú FC booed when EL TIFON DE BOYACA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Ivan Ongile ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carman Rafferty was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Carman Rafferty came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Yapeyú FC's Dario Bortzaioriz. But to his dismay, Dario Bortzaioriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. A collision led to Yapeyú FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Isidoro Loi hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, Yapeyú FC's Dario Bortzaioriz made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carman Rafferty was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Yapeyú FC's Dario Bortzaioriz in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EL TIFON DE BOYACA's goalie prevented a goal. Carman Rafferty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Ongile, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Carman Rafferty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yapeyú FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
