EL TIFON DE BOYACA's Carman Rafferty proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save EL TIFON DE BOYACA from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Hever during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elias Hever hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Leonides Calisto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL TIFON DE BOYACA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brazil70 the free kick. The supporters of Brazil70 booed when EL TIFON DE BOYACA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Brazil70's Hilario Ebardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carman Rafferty narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Hilario Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, EL TIFON DE BOYACA's Carman Rafferty got control of the ball when Hilario Ebardo tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Viviano made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Jonathan Orti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Rafferty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Enrique Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carman Rafferty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Ebardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in EL TIFON DE BOYACA's zone, Jonathan Orti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carman Rafferty came out of the goal and Jonathan Orti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL TIFON DE BOYACA's goalkeeper Carman Rafferty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, EL TIFON DE BOYACA's Remigio Abajas got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Jonathan Orti notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of EL TIFON DE BOYACA's Carman Rafferty. Carman Rafferty was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brazil70's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
