After a defensive mix-up in EL TIFON DE BOYACA's zone, Freddy Oso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carman Rafferty came out of the goal and Freddy Oso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Admon's late challenge caught a EL TIFON DE BOYACA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Admon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of EL TIFON DE BOYACA booed when Comsad Urquiza Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 柳傲星 got free with Carman Rafferty in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 柳傲星 struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Enrique Viviano charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Viviano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Enrique Viviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Oso might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carman Rafferty. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Oso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Freddy Oso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Rafferty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Comsad Urquiza Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 柳傲星 to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Comsad Urquiza Club's Carman Rafferty threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Freddy Oso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 39 minutes into the match, EL TIFON DE BOYACA's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Oso came free, but Carman Rafferty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Oso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If 柳傲星 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Freddy Oso scored 1-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carman Rafferty, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Freddy Oso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Freddy Oso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Rafferty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes, Genaro Urdin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Comsad Urquiza Club and the EL TIFON DE BOYACA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Comsad Urquiza Club's Genaro Urdin got a free kick in the 61st minute. Carman Rafferty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柳傲星 in the 63rd minute of play. Carman Rafferty came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Comsad Urquiza Club's Freddy Oso. But to his dismay, Freddy Oso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 柳傲星 in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carman Rafferty saved EL TIFON DE BOYACA from getting behind. After 68 minutes, Amado Mantzio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Comsad Urquiza Club and the EL TIFON DE BOYACA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Freddy Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Rafferty having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Leonides Calisto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL TIFON DE BOYACA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Calisto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Oso in the 79th minute of play forced EL TIFON DE BOYACA's goalkeeper Carman Rafferty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Abajas during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes EL TIFON DE BOYACA got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Abajas. Carman Rafferty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 柳傲星, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 柳傲星 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Rafferty having to interfere. Carman Rafferty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Oso, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the EL TIFON DE BOYACA defense, Freddy Oso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carman Rafferty. The EL TIFON DE BOYACA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carman Rafferty should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Comsad Urquiza Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
