A collision led to MoTuNeTa getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Justo Cugat hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Eloy Txeru fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kurt Coulson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Carlos-Alberto Menendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Tonio made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Eloy Txeru sent off a good shot on target. When Ismael Birila came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Revolution futbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Birila couldn't finish the play. Ismael Birila was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Revolution futbol's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 28 played minutes MoTuNeTa got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Erauso. Jeronimo Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Birila in the 29th minute of play. A hard shot 31 in the game by Eloy Txeru from a close distance when the talented Jeronimo Tonio managed to make a qualified save. MoTuNeTa's players were relieved. Carlos-Alberto Menendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Bastos in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute Ismael Birila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Tonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Tonio having to interfere. Jeronimo Tonio made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Eloy Txeru sent off a good shot on target. MoTuNeTa's Jeronimo Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Birila in the 42nd minute of play. Jeronimo Tonio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Birila in the 43rd minute of the match. MoTuNeTa's Jeronimo Tonio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save MoTuNeTa from getting a goal against them. Niceto Gartzen hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in MoTuNeTa's zone, Eloy Txeru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Tonio came out of the goal and Eloy Txeru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kurt Coulson made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ismael Birila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Tonio was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 53rd match minute, MoTuNeTa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Cugat to maneuver through the defense. Carlos-Alberto Menendez made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Kurt Coulson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of MoTuNeTa booed when Revolution futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Revolution futbol's Carlos-Alberto Menendez got control of the ball when Kurt Coulson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeronimo Tonio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Txeru went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Revolution futbol made a substitution. Anacleto Solustiano replaced Ismael Birila. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Txeru in the 79th minute of play forced MoTuNeTa's goalkeeper Jeronimo Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aníbal Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MoTuNeTa's protests and gave Aníbal Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MoTuNeTa's Aníbal Bastos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Solustiano in the 85th minute of play forced MoTuNeTa's goalkeeper Jeronimo Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Coulson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Carlos-Alberto Menendez made a huge save. Revolution futbol had played much better football throughout.
