Sixto Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Macedo having to interfere. LOS POZOS's Ezequiel Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save LOS POZOS from getting a goal against them. If Leonardo Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Timoteo Teofilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrella Roja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS POZOS the free kick. Laureano Azibar shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Sixto Gonsalvo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Estrella Roja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Gonsalvo couldn't finish the play. Timoteo Teofilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Azibar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leon Goren. Estrella Roja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. LOS POZOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Orland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute Sixto Gonsalvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOS POZOS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Estrella Roja to leave the ground with a draw.
