After having played for 20 minutes, Ignacio Tello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Condado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Tello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Txaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Fulgencio Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Condado's goalkeeper Luisito Hermelando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Abancens. If Ignacio Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Frascuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Peter. Club Atletico Balnearia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Frascuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Condado's Luisito Hermelando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Condado from getting a goal against them. Many of Club Atletico Balnearia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Club Atletico Balnearia may have spent more time on the ball, but Condado were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
