Candido Iraitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Atletico Talleres's Candido Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Arce in the 38th minute of play. Amador Ermengol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Candido Iraitz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Patrick Sterenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Atletico Talleres's Candido Iraitz got control of the ball when Amador Ermengol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amador Ermengol did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Candido Iraitz 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Ricardo Todor made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Amador Ermengol made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atletico Talleres's Candido Iraitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Isidoro Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. If Benigno Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Club Atletico Talleres booed when Callejeros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Callejeros's Isidoro Arce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Candido Iraitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 81st minute Benigno Urti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Iraitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Ermengol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Candido Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Club Atletico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Chuan to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Isidoro Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Iraitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Arce in the 88th minute of play. Candido Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Joel Brion suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Callejeros made a substitution. Candido Montrelle replaced Joel Brion. Claudio Montxo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, Callejeros's Francisco Admon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Candido Iraitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Callejeros reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Callejeros fully deserved thier win.
