In the 17th minute, Arnaldo Koldobika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Toscano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haroldo Unax came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Toscano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Andres Urki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Petrigai having to make a save. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Andres Urki sped through Infierno rojo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Astor Petrigai. Infierno rojo's Astor Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Urki in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Urki in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Petrigai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astor Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ruisko in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Andres Urki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Infierno rojo's Astor Petrigai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justino Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Urki was the one to do the kick off. Haroldo Unax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as RIVER PLATE's Andres Urki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Astor Petrigai. That made the score 2-2 after 58 minutes of play. Haroldo Unax didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Toscano went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Andres Urki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RIVER PLATE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Haroldo Unax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Giro in the 78th minute of the match. Andres Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Astor Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Andres Urki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Astor Petrigai. That made the score 3-4 in the 85 minute of play. After some careless play in the RIVER PLATE defense, Daniel Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Unax. The RIVER PLATE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Unax should have stopped the shot. The RIVER PLATE players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Infierno rojo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
