Jimeno Blasi scored 2-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ladislao Fernanco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felipe Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Lanteri's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Tomiczek came free, but Ladislao Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludomil Tomiczek in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Fernanco saved Lanteri from getting behind. Ezequiel Fraco's late challenge caught a Lanteri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Fraco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Atletico Gran Lanús getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ezequiel Fraco hit a great ball. Valentin Esdras took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ladislao Fernanco. Lanteri's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jimeno Blasi could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Ladislao Fernanco however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Club Atletico Gran Lanús getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jimeno Blasi hit a great ball. Artemio Olo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislao Fernanco having to make a save. Ladislao Fernanco stood somewhat misplaced when Ludomil Tomiczek came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. Felippe Hoffmann hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Igor Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Maiorga in the 36th minute of play. Ladislao Fernanco was a little too slow when Dalmacio Oihenarte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. 44 minutes into the match, Lanteri's goalkeeper Ladislao Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Blasi. In the 46th minute, Jimeno Blasi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Gran Lanús fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Jimeno Blasi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lanteri's Ladislao Fernanco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Lanteri's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Tomiczek came free, but Ladislao Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Jimeno Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Atletico Gran Lanús booed when Lanteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomil Tomiczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Lanteri's Ladislao Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Blasi in the 78th minute of play. Ladislao Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Olo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Dalmacio Oihenarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ladislao Fernanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Freddy Enekoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Fernanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lanteri's Jonathan Harkaitz got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ludomil Tomiczek might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Fernanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludomil Tomiczek ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atletico Gran Lanús had played much better football throughout.
