Spectators: 7012 (Terracing: 5359, Seating: 1643, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benigno Ferman made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Ludomil Tomiczek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Gran Lanús fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Moreno FC's Florencio Urti got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruben Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Blasi in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moreno FC's Benigno Ferman got a free kick in the 15th minute. Moreno FC's Ruben Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Tomiczek in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Moreno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Gartxot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Blasi went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Moreno FC's zone, Ludomil Tomiczek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Gartxot came out of the goal and Ludomil Tomiczek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ludomil Tomiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Otsoko kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludomil Tomiczek in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Gartxot saved Moreno FC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Jimeno Blasi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Moreno FC's Ruben Gartxot. Ruben Gartxot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jimeno Blasi struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ruben Gartxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Gran Lanús. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludomil Tomiczek in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Gartxot saved Moreno FC from getting behind. After the first half Club Atletico Gran Lanús were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ludomil Tomiczek made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Tomiczek in the 53rd minute of play forced Moreno FC's goalkeeper Ruben Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Tibalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreno FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Gran Lanús the free kick. After 54 played minutes Moreno FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Tibalt. Ludomil Tomiczek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 57 in the game by Jimeno Blasi from a close distance when the talented Ruben Gartxot managed to make a qualified save. Moreno FC's players were relieved. In the 58th minute, Club Atletico Gran Lanús's Jimeno Blasi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruben Gartxot. Ruben Gartxot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With a little luck, Moreno FC's Ruben Gartxot got control of the ball when Jimeno Blasi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 played minutes Moreno FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Tibalt. Jimeno Blasis short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Ruben Gartxot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 74 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Gran Lanús's Jimeno Blasi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Artemio Olo might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruben Gartxot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Olo ran back to his position shaking his head. Nils-Erik Lidman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Moreno FC's Ruben Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Tomiczek in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Ludomil Tomiczek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruben Gartxot. Ludomil Tomiczek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 95th match minute, Moreno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Oihenarte, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Club Atletico Gran Lanús's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
