Spectators: 6925 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Florencio Iraido kicked off to start the match. Cipriano Tximitx struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Vladimiro Manny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parera FC. The supporters of Parera FC booed when Vergara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Manny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Tximitx in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Beti during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Mariano Beti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Placido Toribio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Gamus's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Jonas Gomez put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Parera FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vergara FC:s goal. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Vergara FC. Tiburcio Demario stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Placido Toribio. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Parera FC's zone, Florencio Iraido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Toribio came out of the goal and Florencio Iraido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Florencio Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Parera FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ermegildo Cugat hit a great ball. Placido Toribio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Iraido's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Jesus Txerran hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Eugenio Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Parera FC got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Navarro. Florencio Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Placido Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Vergara FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cipriano Tximitx made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Parera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Iraido came free, but Placido Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Eugenio Gamus fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Navarro during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evelio Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Florencio Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Toribio made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Fernan Jax sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Florencio Iraido fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Placido Toribio, passed just outside the right post. Parera FC's Jesus Txerran got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Parera FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vergara FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
