Spectators: 7099 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rigoberto Swain got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Olascoaga's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Jordy came free, but Bruno Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes, Rigoberto Swain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olascoaga and the la hora referi players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Claudio Jordy fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored la hora referi's protests and gave Claudio Jordy a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Nisio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Swain in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Havier in the 11th minute of play forced la hora referi's goalkeeper Leandro Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, la hora referi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Jordy to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Swain was shown his second yellow card after 13 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Olascoaga getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rigoberto Swain hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Kosmas Loukoumas managed to get in a good position for a shot. la hora referi's supporters rose to their feet, but Kosmas Loukoumas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Ursino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Paulo Havier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Paulo Havier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Marcelo Policarpio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Marcelo Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Claudio Jordy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Bruno Ursino managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when la hora referi's Claudio Jordy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 55th match minute, la hora referi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Hats to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Silvio Basajaun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Nisio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 62nd minute, Silvio Basajaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, la hora referi's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Policarpio came free, but Leandro Nisio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvio Basajaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. la hora referi's Leandro Nisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Havier in the 77th minute of play. Paulo Havier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Nisio having to make a save. Paulo Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Clodio during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of la hora referi booed when Olascoaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Clodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Marcelo Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olascoaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Policarpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olascoaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave la hora referi the free kick. In the 97th match minute, Olascoaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Odol to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Jordy got free with Bruno Ursino in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that Olascoaga were the better team. Olascoaga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
