Herminio Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Pereyra having to interfere. Julio Onofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Phelipe in the 8th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Julio Onofre successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Chacabuco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Eusebio Lluques scored to the left of an out of position Julio Onofre, making the score, 1-1. After 18 played minutes Portugalete AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Guillerme. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Phelipe got free with Julio Onofre in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Onofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Lluques in the 24th minute of the match. If Astor Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Onofre made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Astor Phelipe sent off a good shot on target. Christian Mel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Julio Onofre 38 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Portugalete AFC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Fero. Julio Onofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Lluques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute of the match, Christian Mel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Onofre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With 48 minutes on the clock, Igor Harbaszewski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 47th minute, one of Chacabuco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chacabuco. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 59th minute, Alan Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Lordi during the 61st minute. The supporters of Portugalete AFC booed when Chacabuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Inguma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Baladi during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Portugalete AFC. Elias Jurgi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Onofre. 4-1. In the 74th match minute, Chacabuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Aztore to maneuver through the defense. Chacabuco's Julio Onofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Mel in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Astor Phelipe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Onofre was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Christian Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Onofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Inguma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Inguma in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Onofre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Chacabuco's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Phelipe came free, but Julio Onofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Portugalete AFC's Florencio Inguma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Onofre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After a rather tough play, Chacabuco's Alan Nunes got a free kick in the 99th minute.
