Excursio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, kahuna's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Kosowski came free, but Elvio Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Roberto Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Pontes got free with Elvio Gomez in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Iztal made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Iztal in the 95th minute of play forced Excursio's goalkeeper Domingos Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Excursio had won after a very even match.
