Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 45) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alonzo Medina started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Carrizalillo were awarded a corner. Modesto Matthew went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Carrizalillo's corner Modesto Matthew fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Armando Eate quite easily take care of the ball. Carrizalillo's Aristides Tartalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Giraldo in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Javier Txatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vergadura's goalkeeper Armando Eate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 15 in the game by Alonzo Medina from a close distance when the talented Armando Eate managed to make a qualified save. Vergadura's players were relieved. After 22 minutes, Narciso Giraldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vergadura and the Carrizalillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narciso Giraldo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Desiderio Emeterio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Javier Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Armando Eate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alonzo Medina sped through Vergadura's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Eate.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Giraldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Aristides Tartalo was a little too slow when Valdemar Flø got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-1. When Carrizalillo's Alonzo Medina in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vergadura's goalie prevented a goal. Armando Eate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Medina's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Carrizalillo's Alonzo Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vergadura's zone, Alonzo Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Eate came out of the goal and Alonzo Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Desiderio Emeterio kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Medina in the 74th minute of play forced Vergadura's goalkeeper Armando Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Desiderio Emeterio fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vergadura's protests and gave Desiderio Emeterio a yellow card for diving instead. 80 minutes into the match, Carrizalillo's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Giraldo came free, but Aristides Tartalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Hegoi hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Vergadura's Narciso Giraldo got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
