Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leones FC's Alvaro Cordarell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Eduardo Etxatxu came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the PINCHAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Llorienzo having to interfere. Rodrigo Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Etxatxu in the 14th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Florentino Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Delgado in the 38th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Etxatxu to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Etxatxu in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Galindo saved Leones FC from getting behind. If Eduardo Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Etxatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Gregorio Tavio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Leones FC's Florentino Galindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Cordarell in the 80th minute of play forced PINCHAS FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Eduardo Etxatxu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Leones FC's Florentino Galindo. In the 94th minute, Eduardo Etxatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
