The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Mambru Caspe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Jakobe. Ca!averas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mambru Caspe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Mambru Caspe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amado Jakobe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Hernan Mercurio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Eustacio Calvet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Cosme Bitxintxo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ca!averas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Arturo Ordono hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Hernan Mercurios short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Eustacio Calvet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Mercurio in the 26th minute of play forced Funebreros A.C.'s goalkeeper Eustacio Calvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Galeno in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Jakobe saved Ca!averas FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Galeno in the 32nd minute of play forced Ca!averas FC's goalkeeper Amado Jakobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Calvet made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Sebastião Paredes sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Ca!averas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mambru Caspe came free, but Amado Jakobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustacio Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 鲁超霖 in the 40th minute of play. Miguel Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Jakobe having to interfere. Hernan Mercurio took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Calvet. Eustacio Calvet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Galeno to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Cosme Bitxintxo made a precise shot to the right of Eustacio Calvet. Funebreros A.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Amado Jakobe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mambru Caspe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mambru Caspe came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Funebreros A.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mambru Caspe couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Funebreros A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Mercurio came free, but Eustacio Calvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ca!averas FC's Amado Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mambru Caspe in the 63rd minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Ca!averas FC's 鲁超霖 made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustacio Calvet was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hernan Mercurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mambru Caspe in the 75th minute of play forced Ca!averas FC's goalkeeper Amado Jakobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Funebreros A.C.'s Miguel Palban got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Bitxintxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eustacio Calvet having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Hernan Mercurio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustacio Calvet was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Eustacio Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Bitxintxo in the 86th minute of the match. Eustacio Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Mercurio in the 87th minute of play. Eustacio Calvet came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ca!averas FC's 鲁超霖. But to his dismay, 鲁超霖 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by 鲁超霖 in the 96th minute of play forced Funebreros A.C.'s goalkeeper Eustacio Calvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Funebreros A.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
