After having played for 29 minutes, Leonides Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIVERPOOL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Mikelar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, LIVERPOOL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Indar came free, but Arturo Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Indar in the 36th minute of play forced LIVERPOOL FC's goalkeeper Arturo Oihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Erubiel Atauri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Oihan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Hilario Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo James hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Hilario Cuarto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Oihan having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Cesar Indar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centeno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute Cesar Indar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Oihan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Centeno's Alejo Sandaili got a free kick in the 81st minute. Guido Haritzeder struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Bernabe Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LIVERPOOL FC. The LIVERPOOL FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Centeno's performance. The match ended with a win for Centeno.
