With his leg Ubaldo Pereyra managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Peguahó FC's Javier Gartzea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. Real Varadero's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Selmo came free, but Ubaldo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Pereyra having to interfere. Javier Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ubaldo Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Peguahó FC's Javier Gartzea got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Javier Gartzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Nicholas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of C.S. y D. Real Varadero's Ubaldo Pereyra. Ubaldo Pereyra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orlando Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ubaldo Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Ofelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Matai in the 34th minute of the match. Javier Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute, Lorenzo Nicholas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Peguahó FC's Javier Gartzea in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S. y D. Peguahó FC's Marco Damario shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ubaldo Pereyra but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. Real Varadero's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Gartzea came free, but Ubaldo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Bilbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Javier Gartzea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peguahó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 66 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Nicholas notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of C.S. y D. Real Varadero's Ubaldo Pereyra. Ubaldo Pereyra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Javier Gartzea might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Pereyra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Gartzea ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Javier Gartzea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Pereyra. C.S. y D. Real Varadero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Javier Gartzea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After 78 played minutes C.S. y D. Real Varadero got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Javiero. A collision led to C.S. y D. Real Varadero getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Eugenio Hitz hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes C.S. y D. Real Varadero got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Hitz. 87 minutes into the game, Peguahó FC's Lorenzo Nicholas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Pereyra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Peguahó FC's Lorenzo Nicholas got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Peguahó FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
