In the 25th minute of the match, Eusebio Stephen sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Fulgencio Librado showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Anier Procopio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zentena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Procopio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Papagayos FC defense, Anier Procopio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Seme. The Papagayos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Seme should have stopped the shot. If Anier Procopio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anier Procopio made a kick off. Braulio Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Procopio, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Karim Løvenheld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
