Real Varadero from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, Zentena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Hitz came free, but Fulgencio Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Julian Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S. y D. Real Varadero's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Matai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Librado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Olof Kiempe struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.S. y D. Real Varadero reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zentena FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
