Spectators: 6631 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1631, VIP seats: 0) Silvano Chale made the kick off and thus started the match. Gaston Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Refugio in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Virgilio Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes Mendiolaza FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Suero. In the 19th minute, Mendiolaza FC's Jeremias Refugio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaston Tano. Gaston Tano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Jairo Leheren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Tano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ballester's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Refugio came free, but Gaston Tano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Ovidio Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silvano Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Carolo Presebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Chale might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Sansone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvano Chale ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgilio Ferman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aquilino Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Mendiolaza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Txema to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd match minute, Deportivo Ballester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Gizon to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes Deportivo Ballester got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Domeka. Jeremias Refugio struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gaston Tano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mendiolaza FC. Gaston Tano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Hermengildo Frances in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo Ballester's Silvio Ticho. Virgilio Ferman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Sansone having to make a save. If Silvio Ticho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jeremias Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Jairo Leheren notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Deportivo Ballester's Gaston Tano. Gaston Tano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jairo Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Tano having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mendiolaza FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Ballester had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
